Most people have seen or heard of acupuncture in humans or animals. Most of the time I evaluate a horse osteopathically first to determine which part of the body needs extra work. If a horse is stiff or sore in a particular area or is having trouble flexing that is usually the area I choose to acupuncture. Depending on the horse or problem, I may choose to use electro acupuncture or vitamin B12 aqua puncture. My training in acupuncture was completed in Florida at the Chi Institute of Chinese Veterinary Medicine.
